These are two separate situations. It's not a problem to tag a few people in a story. And I'm very happy to have you tag me!

The problem seems to be when too many are tagged at once. We don't know exactly what "too many" means, but there seems to be a common theme of pub owners being banned from Medium or at least pulled from the MPP permanently if they slap a huge wall of tags on their posts.

So I'm still a little nervous to tag bunches of people, but I'm hoping that if it's always accompanied by a note that says those people requested it, Medium won't turf me from the platform, or the MPP.
