Thank you, Danielle! Yes - if only we could teach our children that at an early age...

Sadly, there are still way too many terribly wounded adults walking around parenting - I was one of them and I made plenty of mistakes with my kids. I did my best but I had no business being a parent back then.

I just didn't know about this stuff.

All we can do is our best. At least I took all of them for plenty of counselling when I began to understand the impact of my childhood and early choices on my own life - and theirs. We went in various combinations for years but it didn't do any good. Too many outside factors beyond my control by then. :(
