Thank you for sharing this. How traumatic for you to have witnessed so much on that day (and beyond) beginning with watching the south tower swallow the second plane. Too awful for words.

I appreciate what you're saying here, and I agree - generally - although I can also say that I actually prefer to hear that everything is going to be okay when things are going horribly wrong. It helps me to calm down and know that somehow, I'll get through whatever is going on right now (and there has been plenty to get through).

But certainly, there are many more choices of what to say that could work better or not annoy some people, although at the end of the day, we can't please everyone, right?
