Thank you for sharing this story, Carmellita, wow, how scary for you until you were rescued. A shame Tangela didn't live long enough to share her wisdom into old age. I'm sure glad she was there for you.

Off the top of my head, all I can think of (in answer to your "Fam" question) are times when I wish someone would have been there to rescue me or guide me or offer a strong word of caution - but nope. I guess one of my big lessons in this life was to learn how to protect myself because there haven't been people who did it for me when I needed it most.

I'm lucky to have survived a few of those situations. I guess someone "up there" was looking out for me!
