Thank you for this, Lanu!! I knew about the vinegar wash, but am happy to learn of these two other alternatives.

During the years that lived in England, I was so shocked to see how many people there do NOT wash their fresh veg and fruit. More people didn't than did! They'd open packs of grapes, berries etc. (or anything) and start eating. EW EW EW!!!! Hardly ever saw that here in Canada though.
