You live in a country with about 50-60 species of deadly and aggressive snakes, whereas Canada, where I grew up, has only two venomous ones - two types of rattlesnakes -with only a handful of deaths in several decades. So I can see why you would naturally be fearful of them.

Hopefully, my story will at least help you see them in a different light and understand that most snakes are not out to get you.

Still...in India...I wouldn't exactly recommend trying to cozy up with a random wild snake and offer him a coffee :)
