Thank you, Grace!!! It's sure not my sweet English country garden loaded with herbs and flowers bushes and climbing plants - but I've done my best to create a happy space outside. It's 100 sq ft - not a proper garden size by any means, but more than most would have in a place like this.

I'm so grateful for the home I've created for myself and I'm finally feeling settled and got past the worst of the pain of leaving England. I'm sure I'll always feel an ache there; I don't love living in this climate or a new city. I adore England, the history, the old buildings, the stone, the traditions, its quirky charm. Can't replicate that here.

But I have to be okay with where I am, and I've done a good job of healing that wound as much as I can (for now anyway) and creating a home that makes me feel good.
