Yes yes yes!!! Start writing!! Just do it!! Are you familiar with Cindy Heath here? She is an expert at writing memoir. Maybe some useful tips?

I think that's great that you want to write your memoir and am totally encouraging you to go for it!

Thank you, Shanti! Yes - very exciting!! I started creating this series 3 years ago and then ran into some awful health issues, then my move back to Canada and more trauma and the leg situation blah blah blah ...

I'm finally feeling well enough to get back to it. It's a small town romance series (clean and wholesome subgenre), and the two main characters, Noah and Ivy, have been waiting patiently for me to tell their story.

Three years ago, I'd got a good start on their back stories and flaws/wounds (which of course play out in a romance as they have to overcome them if they're going to fall in love). I also started developing their families, especially siblings, and also some of the townspeople. I have a little map of the town center, the businesses, which person owns or works at which business etc. Such fun!

One of the great things about a series is you don't have to keep doing more world-building with every book. And you set up situations with people in one book that lets them be the main characters in another one. Readers love this - playing in a place where they know all the characters. It's like watching your fave TV series and knowing who's who and how they're all connected.

Yesterday I finally wrote the first little bit. I felt like I'd come home. I love love love writing novels.

Ooo, I just bought the domain for that website!! Although it'll be a while before I need to build it. :)
