Thank you, Shanti! They are such fascinating and much misunderstood and maligned animals.

I wrote a little series about them here - well, mainly one of them, my little buddy, Bob, and to some extent, one of the others, (Fluffy, one of my boas). Bob was my first snake - and he was also the one I had the longest. Others came and went, and at the end, I had him and Fluffy.

Bob and I shared an incredibly unique bond. He was a very special snake with loads of personality. I miss him more than I could ever say.
