Thank you so much for reading more of this story, Esther! And sharing your great comments, too, I appreciate you!

Hmm, how do I explain “creepy but not scary”…well, it did get a little scary when I thought I couldn’t dial out or get help. There was a moment of panic, feeling like I was suddenly in the middle of one of those terrifying films but I managed to get hold of myself. I suppose because by this time, we’d lived there for a few months (well, about two for me, as I’d spent one of them in Canada when my dad was dying, as I mentioned). And we were getting sort of used to the weird goings-on.

I had to remind myself, too, that until then, we hadn’t experienced anything dark and awful and it was likely not a new and nasty ghost. If it was Lydia, I wouldn’t have to worry. But it was sure unsettling until it all settled down!

Thanks so much for reading, and having a little conversation about it with me. I lived it, so it’s hard for me to imagine how it feels for others reading about it. I really appreciate your kind feedback. Thank you!
