Thanks for reading my story, Alan. Sorry - meant to give you the Medium link, didn't mean to take you off the site without warning (some people don't like that).

Yeah - my mother ... she sure had her own issues.

The thing is - as I said, money is energy. Holding it tightly doesn't allow a flow of that energy.

I'm not suggesting people go nuts and spend like idiots and not be responsible. But the more fear you put around not having money, the less money you're likely to have.

Since I went through everything I mentioned in that story - and then had my epiphany and started truly changing the way I felt and thought about money, I've been astonished at how much more of it I have.

I'm actually in a very comfortable situation now, and I have more money than I ever thought I'd have - and it keeps coming to me. I love watching my savings growing, while I'm still able to spend and have things I love and enjoy. I've decorated my home and bought lots of extras that weren't essential but make my life more enjoyable.

And still, the savings grow.

I still do what I said in that story - when I pay a bill or purchase anything, I thank Money for going out into the world and being a blessing and coming back to me with lots of its friends.

And I offer gratitude for having more than enough money to pay those bills or make those purchases.

After a life of "I don't deserve" and many years of fearing for my safety and being homeless, my mindset is so different now, and so is my financial life.

So my methods seem to be working!

Seriously - the books in this story - I would recommend getting them! They're all easy reads and they changed my life and my finances in a huge way.
