Thanks so much, Janet. That's one of the main reasons I'm writing this series - and in such detail. So many people are afraid of snakes because of a lot of misconceptions - and it doesn't help that we associate "bad people" with being snakes. And then there's the whole Biblical thing on a subconscious level. Serpents are evil...they are to be feared...

It's true, some are dangerous and people do die from snake bites. But it's not nearly as common as we think and most of them are not going to cause any harm. I would definitely approach any snake with caution in the wild - or in your garden!

That hypnotist was so wrong. Watch any YouTube videos about long-separated animals and humans...or even two animals. But you can't make people like that change their minds!

Sorry to hear you have (had?) migraines. I had them so so so often in the past. What a misery! Got rid of them after my first treatment with a classical homeopath (25 years ago).

Thanks so much for reading this. I am working on Part 3 - and it will give you an even deeper appreciation for these lovely animals. I think there's going to be a part 4 - that one will have the astonishing 'something' in it that I thought might be in Part 3.
