This is lovely and I agree that love connects us with the divine. I think there are other kinds of love, however, and I don't believe "love never fails" or that it necessarily should "endure all things."

I have loved fiercely and fully but it is not received or does not change an outcome. I have loved fiercely and endured abuse for the sake of it.

But I definitely appreciate the pure love that comes from a connection with the divine.
