This is lovely, Sam. I'm reminded of a piece I published today about how we don't see the miracles that are all around us, and within us - and in the world. I love the idea of "gems of humanity." What a beautiful phrase! And it says so much. Definitely, loads of miracles - precious gems - so much to value - right here in front of us, always.
