This is wonderful!! Thanks so much for sharing it, Tamara! I used to feel that "need to talk" mostly when others were being quiet and I felt like I was responsible for carrying the conversation. Often, I would have loved to be "the quiet one" but because I was raised to believe I'm responsible for other people's happiness, I felt like it was my responsibility to fill the spaces so they'd have a nice time, good visit or whatever. It was exhausting!
There were also times I spoke for other reasons when I should have kept my mouth shut, too, but over the years have worked on that and now I wish I could go back and suck all those unnecessary words back in!!
