Hello, my wonderful pub writers! Happy New Year! I hope you’ve enjoyed the holiday season and are gearing up for “The Usual” next week. (Already??) 🤦🏻♀️
As you know, I’ve been working on organising a video chat for us to say hello and spend a little time together. I mentioned that you don’t have to be on video, but I will say this: If you appreciate seeing everyone else, please consider that we’d like to see you, too!
Anyway, I’ve finally chosen a date and time. I know the time isn’t brilliant for some of you but trying to find one that is convenient for people all over the globe is impossible.
The chat will be on Saturday, January 29th at 3 pm EST, which means Sunday morning, January 30th, 1.30 a.m. IST and 6 a.m. AEST.
I offered the option of doing two separate calls at different times to give each side of the planet a shot at a civil time of day. I asked people who would be impacted by the time to tell me their preference. All who responded preferred to have one call and be sleepy for a day.
So here we are!
Please come prepared to have some fun! I’m counting on about 90 minutes depending on how many kids come out to play.
