It brought me to tears, thinking of how you must have suffered, and there were also tears of joy that you've turned your life around.

What a blessing that you were able to take responsibility for your actions. That's the only way to make any changes.

Jacob still does not do that for this crime. He still claims it was an accident and says there were other factors involved that didn't come out in the trial or in the papers. (He told someone in our family this)

It doesn't surprise me, he never took responsibility from when he was a kid.
