Well said!! This bothers me, too. The grammar...the spelling...oy vey! And I must add, Grammarly isn't always correct!! Go figure.

And not all "editors" have a clue about editing. They are often (here at Medium) people who merely decided to create a pub and their writing skills aren't brilliant. What really irks me is the rare time an editor will incorrectly "correct" my grammar - such as in the cases you mentioned, like if I said "between him and me" they would change to "between he and I" - Oh YUUUUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOO!!!!
