Well, you're not far off with your rock comment! I don't listen to the news or watch it, and rarely even go on social media, much less scroll through the feeds.
I figure if there's anything urgent that I really need to know, I'll hear about it in my conversations with friends.
It doesn't help that I've lived an extremely isolated life for about 15 years. I rarely go anywhere or see anyone, especially in the past 5 years I've been a hermit, mainly related to health issues.
Yes, of course I know the market is loaded with artificial products - and ingesting them or using toxic cleaners etc. isn't good for us.
I just didn't realise that fragrances could wreak havoc on the immune system - the stuff that was in that particular article was shocking to me.
I thought my sensitivity to scents was simply that - a sensitivity, as I'm also super sensitive to touch, drafts, sounds, all kinds of things. Never thought beyond "oo, strong smell, nose does not like this!"
