What a fascinating story, Catherine! I love that you worked in some beautiful messages that many need to hear. And I'm so intrigued by your imagination!

Such an interesting place to take this 'first line'!

Thank you so much for this wonderful submission!! You are such a great storyteller. I could see and feel every bit of this!

Funny, but when I had snakes, I used to wish I could sleep with them the way I did with my cats. One snake in particular - was never so bonded with an animal as I was to that one sweet snake, Bob. He had such lovely energy, like a curious little boy.

Anyway - I could relate to Elenor and I sure saw a lot of Edmunds! And happily, Bob and a few of my other snakes often converted "snake-aphobes" as I always liked to call them, and they could see that they're really lovely animals.

Do you have snakes or a particular fondness for them? Or are you on Edmund's side of that fence?
