What a great story! Thanks for sharing this. I don't think there's an easy answer to your question. I never had thoughts of living anywhere except where I was raised, probably mostly because I was so busy putting out fires from my chaotic, turbulent life, there was no opportunity to think about dreams or plans or anything other than survival.

I also had agoraphobia for some time in my late teens and into my 20s - barely left my house, let alone the city - and forget the continent! It's truly astonishing that I ended up moving across the planet, which totally opened up my life in amazing ways.
