What a great story! You were so blessed…I wasn’t allowed to watch cartoons on Saturday mornings. Had to help my mother clean the house (my older brother got to sleep late). Once in a while I got to watch a bit of looney tunes later Saturday afternoon but the tv was usually my dad’s domain.

Sugary cereals?! Nope! None of those either apart from a very rare box maybe once a year.

But I never felt deprived. This was just normal for our home. Probably good I didn’t notice what I was missing! 😁
