What a wonderful story, Judy! Thanks so much for sharing this. I had to giggle about frigid Canada...I was born in Saskatchewan - gotta love those frozen prairies - and grew up in Calgary, enduring minus 40 temps with worse wind chills. I detest the cold! Am now living in England and SO appreciating the much more gentle, moderate climate (although it is amusing to hear of "severe winter blizzards" that produce 1-2 cm of snow, or -5 temps!).
