What an interesting story!! Thanks so much for sharing this, Helen. I'm so shocked by the sister - what a nasty piece of work! And I agree with you, their life doesn't sound enjoyable. Maybe free of financial stress (a big one!) and lovely to have anything you want, and a varied and healthful diet (also a big one) but it sounds empty and lonely. Mrs. Nancy was chained to her husband's life and controlled by it; no identity of her own. No, thanks!
