Whew! I'm glad you didn't feel like I was criticising! (English spelling there, sorry, I just can't do a 'z' anymore!)

Thank you for sharing more about your situation. You must have had a lot of growth and healing during your time apart for you to go back and honestly say, "I can't promise you forever." And it was the kind of statement that would keep both of you focusing on healing the relationship one day at a time instead of settling in and sliding into habits that can lead to frustration, distance etc., as happens to many couples even without the added challenges you had.

Your story of dedication and patience is admirable.

Yes, those walks we'd like to share would be so good. I do believe we have a lot in common.

Aw, how sweet you've been thinking about me, too! Thank you for saying that.

I'm glad it's a good week so far, and thanks for your wishes for mine. I do not celebrate the 4th of July because I'm Canadian and British. We just had "Canada Day" up here on July 1st, celebrating our confederation in 1867 (we're a lot younger than you!).

Hope you have a good 4th of July, and I'm sending lots of love and hugs to you, too!! 💜💜💜
