Wow! Great story, Dina! Sooo descriptive! So chilling! Not surprised these paintings terrified you - and that they've left an impression all these years later.

As a kid, aside from my waking life being quite terrifying in many ways, I had a recurring nightmare about a witch that flew around the house, chasing me and trying to kill me. I don't know how often I had it but it was numerous times, and always exactly the same.
