I couldn't agree with you more. These are kinds of sads that we need. I fear for the future, too, and what lies ahead for our children, their children ... I have five grandchildren and wonder what life will be like for them in 20 years, 50 years, their kids and grandkids.

It's a scary pile of 💩 out there in many ways.

I have to trust - I choose to trust - that we will turn this ship around and not destroy ourselves. I mean, our default setting is survival. There are plenty of people trying to figure it out.

Although I have to say, seems a stupid waste of billions of dollars to be trying to run away to another planet so we can destroy it, too, rather than using that money to figure out how to fix things on the beautiful one we've already got.
