Wow, that must have been some splendiferous birthday celebrations!

I haven't seen the film because my kids told me "DON'T WATCH IT, MUM!" They said it would be too violent for me (they know I'm stupidly outrageously sensitive to it).

I tried to read the book when I was about 20-ish but it just didn't interest me.
