Wow, what a journey, Sharon. Thanks for sharing this. I never had to think about weight loss until I hit menopause. I'd always been slim - underweight (even anorexic for 9 years in my early adult life). Once I beat that, I could eat anything not nailed down and never gained weight.

Now ??? I just have to think about food. It's been a frustrating experience, to say the least. I've never had to deal with worrying about what I eat or counting calories or points or any of this disciplined misery, and even when I do, the weight comes off slowly - briefly - and then STOPS even if I'm not touching the bonus points and I'm bloody STARVING.

Eventually, I give up and that little bit of progress is lost, as I eat normally again and I'm back where I started. So frustrating!
