Wow. What a lot of weird and wonderful words! It is sad that many of them have been tossed aside, left in a dusty old attic somewhere, and replaced by so many stupid ones - such as the way people now have a whole text language, in which they say, "TBH" or "IMO" or "u" instead of "you" and we speak in acronyms and say them like words - like ASAP isn't just four letters spoken individually, it's "Asap" almost like "Asap's fables" (Please forgive me, Aesop!)

I don't like many of the changes in our language, such as the horrifically overused - and INCORRECTLY used " "awesome". That word NEVER comes out of my mouth (or fingertips) because it has been bastardized. "Call you later." "Awesome." WHAT?????

Thank you for an interesting read! And for diving into some lovely old words that ought to be used and enjoyed, just as much as many of their better-known friends.
