Yeah, kind of fun to pull apart films and look at them realistically, especially comedies, in which the storylines are so utterly ridiculous! Love all you wrote here about the "truth" if this were a real life thing.

I adore Gone With the Wind and can pretty much tell you the next line all the way through. Such a freakin brilliant story and fantastic characters!!!

And The Holiday - Oh. yummmm... I watch it in the summer, my daughter and I watch it every year around Christmas, I can't get enough of that story!!! And having moved from very new/modern western Canda to England and into a tiny village and very old cottage, I can sure relate to the Cameron Diaz's character when she smacks her head on the ceiling beams, when she's trying to drive down a skinny country lane and a lorry is coming at her - etc. !!

I loooove that film so so so so so much!
