Yikes! I'm sorry to hear about all the scary stuff, cripes - that's awful! And all the other issues with being in the middle of nowhere - not good, so expensive and inconvenient in many ways.
What I have in mind is more like when I lived in England. Although there are certainly several huge cities and large towns, it's dotted with tiny villages. When you fly over it, it's mostly green, open space. I've always wondered where they're keeping nearly 60 million people! That's almost twice the population of all of Canada (where I live now). You can live outside a village in the countryside but be a 5-10 minute drive, or a 20-minute walk to the nearest village. You can still get grocery deliveries, Amazon, all the services you mentioned because to be on a large property in the countryside there can mean you're still just minutes from any village or town.
Best of both worlds...I only lived in villages, the smaller the better! One step away from "in the country" but it was so much nicer than being in the city here in Canada.
Most of the small villages have at least a small shop (like a 7-11 size). Some of them have "express" versions of the big supermarkets and they're often big enough to have hair salons, a bank, doctor, dentist, other shops, all sorts of things so you can walk everywhere. And to live just outside a village like that, you get country life with easy access to amenities.
It's not like that where I live in Alberta. Towns and cities, miles apart, to live in the country means more like what you're talking about.
I miss England ... but apparently, the universe wants me to be in Canada again despite my best efforts so now I need to create a new dream. Canada is a magnificent country; I'm proud to be Canadian. But my heart is in England and I'm also proud to be British.
I'm sorry that you have to leave a home and property you love. I can relate to that, as I still ache for the 500-year-old stone cottage and sweet English country garden I left behind years ago. There's nothing like that here.
Here's hoping you find another home and property you love as much as the good parts of where you are now. And no MAGA-hat-wearing, Trump-flag-waving nonsense please!!!!!!
