You are so right, dear Jennifer. Huge wins indeed! I do remind myself frequently of how far I’ve come. It helps me cope with where I still am. I can’t clean my own bathtub or around the outside and bottom of toilets or stand long enough to prepare proper meals.

It is hard to cut the toenails in my injured side because I can’t bend my leg enough. Can’t sit cross-legged, which is miss so much!! Can’t do tai chi, I miss that, too! Can’t drive because I can’t stand on the injured leg on its own and don’t have people nearby who can help with errands etc.

I’d so love to walk across the street to the supermarket and get my own fresh fruit and veg as opposed to the crap people choose on instacart. But the supermarket might as well be on the moon.

I could go on but the point isn’t to whine! Just saying…I still have a long way to go before I’m living a more normal life. But you can bet I’m THRILLED with my progress so far! Thank you for your encouraging comments! 🙏🏻💖

And wow, long lasting memories for you and your husband with food poisoning!! Awful!!
