You can see how many times someone clapped by clicking on the number next to the pic of the clapping hands.

I used to always clap 50 times but now that Medium has changed its algorithm to only acknowledge the first one, I don't bother, as it wastes time.

Short comments can be great if they actually say something, or show a little expression or something, other than just "Thanks." Or "Great article." ??! I try to write at least a few meaningful words but don't always have time to write more than that, or I'm just not feeling "chatty." :)

Definitely different groups here!! And yes, lovely to find the writers who are taking this seriously - and also having fun and building relationships. Like you, too! 💜
